UIS hosting stargazing events for National Astronomy Day

"National Astronomy Day is quickly approaching, and to celebrate, the University of Illinois Springfield will host two events, giving the public the opportunity to explore the night sky.
The Astronomy-Physics Program at UIS will host the events May 3-4."

"The University of Illinois Springfield delegation received the Outstanding Delegation award at the 2025 National Model United Nations (NMUN) Conference in New York City.
This award recognizes the top 20 percent of participating delegations based on criteria such as engagement, professionalism, and diplomacy."
