        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  baseball  team  hits  the  road  for  its  final  regular  season  series,  visiting  in-state  conference  foe  McKendree  for  four  games  beginning  Thursday.  The  series  opens  at  2:00  p.m.  Thursday,  followed  by  a  Friday  doubleheader  starting  at  12:00  p.m.,  and  a  Saturday  finale  at  12  :00  p.m. </div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  men's  track  and  field  team  is  set  to  compete  at  the  2025  Great  Lakes  Valley  Conference  Outdoor  Championships  this  week.  The  event,  hosted  by  Lewis  this  year,  will  take  place  Thursday  through  Saturday,  May  1–3,  in  Romeoville,  Ill.

The  Prairie  Stars  will  be  well  represented  in  distance  and  middle-distance  events  across  all  three  days  of  competition.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  softball  team  was  recognized  with  three  All-GLVC  selections  on  Wednesday,  as  Rosie  Bartletti  and  Ella  Brinkley  were  named  to  the  First  Team  and  Taylor  Zawacki  earned  a  spot  on  the  Second  Team.  The  announcement  came  after  the  team's  7-2  victory  over  McKendree  in  the  opening  round  of  the  GLVC  Tournament,  which  improved  the  team's  record  to  30-18.
