        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  women's  soccer  team  faces  a  tough  road  test  this  weekend  against  two  of  the  GLVC's  top  teams.  The  Prairie  Stars  will  take  on  McKendree  Friday  at  5:00  p.m.  and  No.  12  Maryville  on  Sunday  at  noon.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  men's  soccer  team  resumes  its  conference  schedule  this  weekend,  aiming  to  get  back  in  the  win  column  after  a  challenging  home  stand.  The  Prairie  Stars  will  face  No.  8  McKendree  on  Friday  night  at  7:30  p.m.  and  Maryville  on  Sunday  at  2:30  p.m.

The  Promising  Prairie  Star  Recognition  Program  honors  outstanding  graduates  under  the  age  of  forty  or  those  who  have  graduated  within  the  previous  5  years.  Honorees  are  selected  for  their  emerging  and  unique  innovation,  creativity  and  success  in  their  chosen  career  and/or  life's  work.  Established  by  the  UIS  Young  Alumni  Committee  in  2024,  the  inaugural  class  of  honorees  will  be  selected  and  recognized  in  the  Spring  of  2025.&nbsp;</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  volleyball  team  is  set  for  a  busy  weekend  as  they  travel  to  Hammond,  Indiana,  to  compete  in  the  annual  Midwest  Regional  Crossover.  The  Prairie  Stars  will  face  Ohio  Dominican  and  Purdue  Northwest  on  Friday,  with  matches  at  11:30  a.m.  and  4:30  p.m.  UIS  will  finish  the  tournament  on  Saturday  with  a  match  against  Cedarville  at  11:30  a.m.  The  event  features  38  NCAA  Division  II  teams  from  the  Great  Midwest  Athletic  Conference  (G-MAC),  Great  Lakes  Intercollegiate  Athletic  Conference  (GLIAC),  and  Great  Lakes  Valley  Conference  (GLVC).</div>
