        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  digital  accessibility  requirements  in&nbsp;Title  II  of  the  Americans  with  Disabilities  Act&nbsp;(2024)  are  broad  and  impact  digital  files  shared  across  campus.  Given  breadth  of  these  requirements,  accessibility  will  become  part  of  our  daily  work.  As  we  advance  in  our  accessibility  compliance  efforts,  it  will  be  essential  for  those  of  us  creating  shared  documents,  recording  videos,  and  managing  websites  to  understand  the  guidelines  for  producing  accessible  content.</div>

I  am  writing  to  advise  that  a  few  minor  changes  have  been  made  to  the  UIS  Levels  of  Governance  (LOG)  policy  document.&nbsp;The  updated  LOG  can  be  found  on  the  Academic  Affairs  Curriculum  Planning  &amp;  Review  webpage.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Redshirt  freshman  Makenna  Cox  has  been  named  the  Jimmy  John's  Athlete  of  the  Month  at  UIS  for  September  2024.  She  ranks  second  in  the  GLVC  for  points  and  kills,  seventh  in  NCAA  DII  for  total  kills,  and  13th  for  points  per  set.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  University  of  Illinois  Springfield  women's  golf  team  finished  15th  at  the  William  Beall  Invitational,  held  at  the  Findlay  Country  Club  at  the  start  of  the  week.  The  team  shot  a  total  of  947  over  three  rounds,  with  scores  of  315,  316,  and  316.</div>
