        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  women's  golf  team  is  set  to  compete  in  the  William  Beall  Fall  Classic  on  Monday,  Sept.  30,  and  Tuesday,  Oct.  1.The  Prairie  Stars  are  coming  off  a  strong  performance  at  the  Kansas  City  Cup,  where  they  finished  fifth  in  a  competitive  field  of  GLVC  teams.

UIS  will  take  on  54  holes  of  stroke  play  over  two  days  at  Findlay  Country  Club.  The  tournament  includes  a  strong  lineup  of  17  NCAA  Division  II  women's  golf  teams,  featuring  GLVC  rivals  Maryville,  Indianapolis,  and  Missouri-St.  Louis.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  men's  golf  team  is  set  to  compete  in  the  Midwest  Regional  Preview  on  Monday,  Sept.  30,  and  Tuesday,  Oct.  1,  in  St.  Joseph,  Mo.  The  tournament,  will  be  hosted  by  GLVC  opponent  Missouri-St.  Louis at  St.  Joseph  Country  Club. 

The  tournament  features  54  holes  of  stroke  play  over  two  days,  starting  at  8:30  a.m.  on  Monday.  With  several  strong  NCAA  Division  II  teams  participating,  the  Prairie  Stars  aim  to  build  on  their  recent  momentum.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  volleyball  team  battled  hard  but  ultimately  fell  in  a  five-set  match  against  Maryville on  Saturday  afternoon  at  TRAC.  With  the  loss,  UIS  falls  to  9-4  overall  and  1-1  in  the  GLVC,  while  Maryville  improves  to  6-6  on  the  season  and  1-1  in  conference  play.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS volleyball  team  was  able  to  win  its  GLVC  opener  on  Friday  night  against  Missouri  S&amp;T  in  a  five-set  affair.  With  the  win,  UIS  improves  to  9-3  overall  with  a  1-0  record  in  the  GLVC.  Missouri  S&amp;T  falls  to  2-9  on  the  season  and  0-1  in  conference  play.
