        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Three  members  of  the  UIS  men's  track  and  field  team  competed  at  SIUE's  Cougar  Classic  on  Saturday  afternoon,  going  up  against  a  strong  field  that  included  NCAA  Division  I  opponents  from  Missouri,  Southern  Indiana,  Lindenwood,  and  Evansville.

Meet  Recap


	Dom  Cantarini,  a  freshman,  placed  14th  in  the  1500-meter  run  with  a  time  of  4:03.85,  just  ahead  of  teammate  Finn  Loken,  who  was  15th  in  4:05.26.
	In  the  800-meter  run,  Lucas  Naugle  placed  19th  out  of  26  runners  with  a  time  of  2:06.23.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  women's  golf  team  is  set  to  compete  at  the  UMSL  Spring  Invitational  this  week,  hosted  at  Norwood  Hills  Country  Club  in  St.  Louis,  Mo.  The  three-round  event  begins  with  two  rounds  on  Sunday,  followed  by  the  final  18  holes  on  Monday.  Play  is  scheduled  to  begin  at  9:30  a.m.  each  day.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  men's  tennis  team  fell  7-0  to  Missouri-St.  Louis  on  Friday  afternoon  in  its  GLVC  opener.  The  Prairie  Stars  are  now  0-8  on  the  season  and  0-1  in  conference  play.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  men's  track  &amp;  field  team  will  travel  to  Edwardsville,  Ill.  to  compete  in  the  SIUE  Cougar  Classic  on  Saturday.

Meet  Preview
The  meet  gives  the  Prairie  Stars  a  valuable  opportunity  to  race  after  last  weekend's  Jim  Vargo  Invitational  at  Bellarmine  was  canceled  due  to  weather.  Dom  Cantarini  and  Finn  Loken  are  entered  in  the  1,500-meters,  while  Lucas  Naugle  will  race  in  the  800-meter  later  in  the  afternoon.
