Completion of website migration brings drastically improved site performance
The University of Illinois Springfield Office of Web Services launched a new website design on the Drupal content management system, and migrated from WordPress a year ago June 1st. The goal of the update was to modernize the look and feel of the site, improve sharing capability of content and content architecture, audit content for accessibility and usability issues, resolve security related issues, and the improve site performance. All of these factors improve site rank on search engines, and boost our web presence.
Here's what the experts say you need to know about renting or buying a home in Springfield

With rents increasing and interest rates on home loans going up, people have been left with the question, "Is it better to rent or own a home?"
Kenneth Kriz, University of Illinois Springfield's distinguished professor of public administration, said there isn't a right answer.
"The housing prices have been rising dramatically," Kriz said.
COVID Testing Instructions for the week of July 11
Thank you for your continued flexibility this month to comply with the state testing requirement for unvaccinated students, faculty and staff on our campus. For the week of July 11, UIS will accept COVID-19 test results from any test that has Emergency Use Authorization.
