        <div  class="newsletter-txt">UIS  golfer  Elaine  Grant  has  been  named  GLVC  Player  of  the  Week  after  an  impressive  showing  at  the  Kentucky  Wesleyan  Invitational  over  the  weekend.  Grant  led  the  Prairie  Stars  to  a  fifth-place  team  finish,  highlighted  by  a  record-tying  second  round  of  69  strokes.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  men's  golf  team  faced  challenging  competition  at  the  Bill  Crabtree  Invitational,  hosted  by  Kentucky  Wesleyan  on  Oct.  28-29.  Playing  at  The  Pearl  Club  in  Owensboro,  Kentucky,  the  Prairie  Stars  competed  in  a  strong  NCAA  Division  II  field,  ultimately  gaining  valuable  experience  as  they  finished  their  fall  season.</div>
