The UIS softball team will host William Jewell for a doubleheader on Friday, starting at noon. The games will serve as Senior Day, where the program will honor its eight seniors in a special post-game recognition ceremony.

Maddie Miller Breaks UIS 5K Record at Bryan Clay Invitational
Maddie Miller set a new UIS school record in the outdoor 5,000-meter run on Thursday at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California. Miller ran a personal-best time of 16:27.78, placing 8th out of 24 runners in Heat 1.
With the performance, Miller now holds the UIS records in the indoor 3K and 5K, as well as the outdoor 5K and 10Kâsolidifying her place at the top of the program's all-time distance leaderboard.
Cortes Posts Personal Best in 5K at Bryan Clay Invitational
Isaac Cortes recorded a personal-best performance in the men's 5,000-meter run on Thursday morning at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Cal.
Competing in Heat 4 of the event, Cortes placed fifth out of 24 runners with a time of 14:27.56, shaving five seconds off his previous best.
UIS Heads to Indiana State for Regular Season Finale
The UIS men's track and field team will close out the regular season this weekend at Indiana State University's Gibson Invitational, held Friday evening and all day Saturday in Terre Haute, Indiana.
