        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  University  of  Illinois  Springfield  held  its  54th  annual  Commencement  ceremony  in  three  parts  on  Friday,  May  9,  and  Saturday,  May  10,  2025,  in  Sangamon  Auditorium.  Out  of  the&nbsp;1,587&nbsp;UIS  students  who  were  eligible  to  graduate,&nbsp;1,071  participated  in  the  ceremony.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  baseball  team  started  its  postseason  with  authority  on  Wednesday,  defeating  seventh-seeded  Missouri  S&amp;T  10-3  in  the  opening  round  of  the  2025  GLVC  Championship  Tournament.  Fueled  by  Esteban  Hernandez's  strong  start  on  the  mound  and  two  home  runs  from  Ivan  Dahlberg,  the  Prairie  Stars  moved  on  in  the  winner's  bracket.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  women's  golf  team  wrapped  up  its  2024-25  season  on  Wednesday  at  the  NCAA  Division  II  East  Regional,  finishing  17th  out  of  18  teams.  Elaine  Grant  led  the  Prairie  Stars  individually,  tying  for  11th  overall.

The  day  began  with  tight  competition  around  the  top  five  teams—positions  that  would  ultimately  decide  both  team  qualifiers  and  which  individuals  not  on  advancing  teams  would  earn  bids  to  nationals.</div>

The  alternative  or  flexible  work  schedules  for  Summer  2025  have  a  window  between  05/11/2025  and  08/16/2025.</div>
