Weather Cancels UIS Baseball's Series Finale Against UIndy
The UIS baseball team played through most of its series against Indianapolis this weekend, but Sunday's scheduled nine-inning finale was canceled due to inclement weather. Per Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) policy, the game will not be rescheduled.
The series began strong for UIS with a 6-3 victory in the nine-inning opener. However, Indianapolis bounced back to win both games of Saturday's doubleheader, taking the first 10-6 and the second 3-0.

The Illinois Springfield softball team split a doubleheader against Southwest Baptist on Saturday, securing a 7-6 victory in game one before falling 9-5 in game two. With the results, UIS moves to 15-10 overall and 3-3 in GLVC play, while SBU stands at 11-13 and 5-1 in the conference.
