Can you give me a brief timeline of how your career led you to UIS?After spending five years teaching general music, band and choir in Sangamon County, I realized my passion was in higher education. Seeking opportunities to contribute to student success, I am now grateful to be part of the registrar's office at the UIS, where I can help students achieve their academic goals.

What’s your favorite season of the year and why?
My favorite season is fall. I love everything about it—the changing leaves, the crisp weather and, most importantly, Halloween.
Visiting Pumpkin Creek Farm has become a yearly tradition for my family, and I look forward to it every year. We love their corn maze because it has trivia questions as you navigate through it. We’ve made it a competition to see who gets the most answers correct—competing with siblings is always fun! We can't wait to take my nephew this fall for the first time!
Faculty and Staff Campaign Kickoff - Free Swag!
The 20th annual Faculty and Staff Campaign Kickoff event is Thursday, March 6, from noon to 1:15 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom.
As a thank you to our faculty and staff donors, all employees who make a gift to any UIS fund on March 6 will receive this personal fan with fun UIS messages. You will also have an opportunity to collect more UIS swag just for coming to the kickoff event.
If you have any questions about this event or the Faculty and Staff Campaign, please reach out.
I hope to see you next Thursday!
