        <div  class="newsletter-txt">UIS  softball  faced  Missouri  S&amp;T  on  Saturday,  dropping  the  first  game  5-1  before  bouncing  back  for  a  7-4  win  in  game  two.  The  Prairie  Stars  stand  at  18-11  overall,  6-4  against  conference  opponents.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  softball  team  will  look  to  extend  its  perfect  9-0  home  record  this  weekend.  The  Prairie  Stars  will  host  Missouri  S&amp;T  on  Saturday  and  Drury  on  Sunday,  with  both  doubleheaders  starting  at  noon.  UIS  is  on  a  strong  streak,  winning  seven  of  its  last  eight  games.

In  their  most  recent  home  appearance,  the  Prairie  Stars  defeated  Parkside  6-0  and  6-5  in  a  midweek  non-conference  doubleheader.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  baseball  team  split  a  doubleheader  with  Missouri-St.  Louis  (UMSL)  on  Friday,  winning  the  opener  10-7  before  dropping  the  second  game  10-7  in  seven  innings.  The  Prairie  Stars  are  now  9-10  overall  and  4-5  in  Great  Lakes  Valley  Conference  (GLVC)  play,  while  the  Tritons  improved  to  17-7  overall  and  7-3  in  the  GLVC.</div>
