The publicly funded project was made possible by a $42.5 million investment from the state of Illinois. UIS Women’s Soccer Set to Open 2025 Season on the Road
The UIS women's soccer team is set to open its 2025 season with a pair of road matches, aiming to make a strong statement during its opening weekend in Owensboro, Ky. The Prairie Stars will face Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday, Sept. 5, at 7:00 p.m., followed by a matchup against West Alabama on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 12:00 p.m. Both games will be played at Panther Field on Kentucky Wesleyan's campus.
