        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  women's  golf  team  will  compete  in  the  2025  NCAA  Division  II  Women's  Golf  East  Regional  this  Monday  through  Wednesday  at  The  Meadows  Golf  Course  in  Allendale,  Mich.,  hosted  by  Grand  Valley  State  University.  The  54-hole  event  features  18  teams  and  six  additional  individuals.

Prairie  Stars  Lineup
UIS  brings  a  veteran  lineup  to  the  postseason:  All-GLVC  performer  Elaine  Grant,  Lia  Rody,  Sara  Prieto,  Ira  Joshi,  and  Isabelle  Segal.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  men's  track  and  field  team  competed  at  the  GLVC  Outdoor  Track  &amp;  Field  Championships  from  Thursday  through  Saturday,  totaling  10  points  to  finish  13th  of  14  teams.  The  Prairie  Stars  scored  in  four  of  the  five  distance  events  they  contested.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Prairie  Stars  came  up  just  short  in  the  GLVC  Championship  on  Sunday,  falling  2-1  to  UIndy  in  the  title  game.  Facing  the  undefeated  Greyhounds  in  the  double-elimination  final,  UIS  needed  to  win  twice  to  claim  the  title  but  was  edged  by  two  late  runs  as  UIndy  secured  its  fourth  GLVC  Tournament  championship.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  and  McKendree  baseball  teams  each  claimed  a  win  in  Friday's  pair  of  seven-inning  games  in  Lebanon,  Ill.  McKendree  took  game  one  7-4,  while  UIS  bounced  back  for  a  6-4  win  in  game  two.  The  series  —  and  the  regular  season  —  concludes  with  an  11:00  a.m.  first  pitch  on  Saturday.</div>
