APAC website updates/edits needed- items were discussed and Matt would update once receiving the full list of changes needed District 5 Representative At-Large Representative Chancellors Representative CSAC Representative AP Staff Membership Roster July 2014 Subcommittee Representatives Most terms on page expired 2014 Representative to Campus Senate Committees Contact Us APAC / CSAC meet-n-greet James Burgdorf proposed the idea of a meet & greet with both executive commitees Many of those present believed it would be beneficial James stated he would contact the Chair of CSAC to establish a date this would be feasible 2015-2016 APAC Calendar- presented to members present Chancellor meeting(s) Provost meeting(s) Campus wide meeting(s) 2016 Election APAC represented at Campus wide candidate interviews- James Burgdorf will forward these to all APs to better inform them Staff Scholarship participation idea Bags Tournament- idea was proposed to be more interactive with campus and other APs Old Business AP Survey Subcommittee- James handed out roster with those who have volunteered to participate on subcommittees. Group agreed to have each subcommittee meet during the next month to brainstorm ideas and report to APAC in September meeting. James encouraged each subcommittee to review the AP Survey results and incorporate the AP items of interest/concern into their discussion future responses. Communication efforts Non-monetary benefits Networking Professional Development Campus/Community involvement New employee orientation- Maureen facilitated a meeting on 8/4 with a mix of AP and CSAC camps members. These events will focus on providing an opportunity, twice a year, for new hires to meet/network with other campus employees. Tentative date for first event is September 16th. Location, weather permitting, will be outside under the Brooken overhang, with Mary Janes space as a backup. The committee will meet again the week of August 17th. An update to APAC will follow.
