        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Dr.  Beverly  Bunch  is  a  professor  in  the  School  of  Public  Management  and  Policy  and  also  holds  a  one-third  appointment  in  the  Center  for  State  Policy  and  Leadership.    Beverly  joined  the  university  in  2001.    She  has  worked  on  projects  such  as  a  program  evaluation  of  a  certification  program  for  the  Free  School  Lunch  program,  a  book  on  Community  Action  (anti-poverty)  local  leaders,    and  a  series  of  projects  on  state  budgeting  with  the  Volcker  Alliance.    Beverly  holds  a  Ph.D.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  men's  basketball  team  heads  to  Springfield,  Mo.,  early  in  the  week  to  compete  in  Drury's  DoubleTree  Thanksgiving  Classic.  Both  the  women's  and  men's  basketball  teams  will  then  return  home  to  TRAC  on  Saturday  to  tip  off  conference  play  against  UMSL.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  men's  basketball  team  will  head  to  Springfield,  Mo.,  next  week  for  the  annual  DoubleTree  Thanksgiving  Classic  hosted  by  Drury.  The  Prairie  Stars  are  set  to  face  Central  Missouri  on  Tuesday  at  3:15  p.m.,  followed  by  a  matchup  against  Union  on  Wednesday  at  the  same  time.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  women's  basketball  team  faced  a  tough  challenge  against  No.  11  Union  on  Saturday,  falling  111-81  in  a  high-scoring  matchup.  Despite  the  loss,  UIS  recorded  their  highest-scoring  game  of  the  season  by  an  18-point  margin.</div>
