UIS  Commencement  ceremonies  will  be  Saturday,  May  14,  2022,  at  the  Bank  of  Springfield  Center  in  downtown  Springfield.  There  will  be  two  ceremonies  at  12:30  and  5:30  p.m.,  divided  by  college  and  each  lasting  approximately  two  hours  each.  Verify  your  College  here:  uis.edu/colleges

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">WHAT:  The  University  of  Illinois  Springfield  will  hold  three  Lunch  &amp;  Learn  Series  events  this  spring.  The  series  is  presented  by  the  UIS  Alumni  SAGE  Society  and  the  Illinois  State  Historical  Society.



WHEN:  Noon-1  p.m.  on  March  10,  April  6  and  May  3



WHERE:  The  March  10  program  will  be  a  virtual-only  format  via  Zoom  Webinar.  The  April  6  and  May  3  programs  will  be  hybrid  with  in-person  and  virtual  participation  options.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  student  commencement  speaker  is  an  important  tradition  for  UIS.&nbsp;  All  graduating  students  are  invited  to  audition  for  this  honor  and  responsibility.&nbsp;  Auditions  will  be  scheduled  for  ZOOM  one  week  after  the  deadline.&nbsp;  Speeches  for  the  audition  should  be  no  longer  than  five  minutes  and  should  be  presented  in  their  entirety.</div>
