Ms.  Perrigo  chose  the  Legal  Studies  Master’s  Degree  program  because  at  the  time  she  was  employed  in  a  management  position  with  a  State  agency  in  Springfield  and,  while  she  had  a  desire  to  continue  her  education,  she  thought  law  school  would  be  too  limiting  for  her  future.</div>

The  convenience  of  location  and  affordability  of  tuition  were  among  the  reasons  why  Dr.  Williams  attended  the  University  of  Illinois  Springfield  (UIS).  The  Legal  Studies  Program  is  established  to  fit  around  students’  schedules  and  Dr.  Williams  was  no  exception.  She  worked  full-time  while  attending  University  of  Illinois  Springfield  to  earn  her  Legal  Studies  Bachelor’s  Degree.</div>
