        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Master  of  Athletic  Training  Program  (MATR)  is  excited  to  announce  the&nbsp;Commission  on  Accreditation  of  Athletic  Training  Education  (CAATE)  has  voted  to  grant  5  years  of  Initial  Accreditation  to  the  Professional  Athletic  Training  Program  at  the  University  of  Illinois  Springfield.

SPRINGFIELD,  IL  (October  1,  2018)  –  After  a  brief  hiatus  this  spring,  the  UIS  Speech  and  Debate  team  has  returned  for  the  new  competitive  season.  Over  the  summer,  the  team  was  relocated  back  to  the  Department  of  Communication  and  a  new  director  has  been  hired.  The  team  is  now  looking  for  new  recruits  to  relaunch  this  successful  program.</div>

Membership  on  the  team  is  open  to  all  undergraduate  students  at  UIS  regardless  of  major.  No  previous  experience  is  required  to  join  the  team.</div>
