SPRINGFIELD,  IL.  (December  12,  2018)  –  The  UIS  Speech  and  Debate  Team  traveled  to  three  competitions  during  the  fall  semester.  After  observing  rounds  at  the  Harris-Hahn-Howell  Tournament  held  at  Illinois  Central  College  in  October,  the  team  traveled  to  Ohio  in  November  and  Missouri  in  December.</div>

SPRINGFIELD,  IL.  (November  7,  2019)  –  The  UIS  Speech  and  Debate  Team  traveled  to  Owensboro,  KY  to  compete  in  the  Kentucky  Swing  Tournament.  This  competition  was  hosted  jointly  by  Owensboro  Community  and  Technical  College  and  Transylvania  University.  A  ‘swing’  competition  is  one  in  which  two  tournaments  take  place  back-to-back  on  the  same  weekend.</div>
