"AI  is  at  the  forefront  and  is  making  its  way  into  our  everyday  lives.  During  the  March  2025  Lunch  and  Learn  Series,  Dr.  Hei-Chi  Chan,  UIS  associate  professor  of  mathematical  sciences  and  philosophy  and  co-founder  of  the  university’s  AI  Campus  Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½  Community,  gave  a  presentation  on  the  evolution  of  AI,  the  university's  AI  Campus  Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½  Community,  how  students  can  make  the  best  use  of  AI,  and  the  future  of  AI  in  our  society.  UIS  is  offering  a  camp  on  AI  this  summer."</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">UIS  senior  Carmen  Llopis  Fabra  has  been  named  a  unanimous  First  Team  All-GLVC  selection,  earning  the  third  all-conference  honor  of  her  career.

The  Castellon,  Spain  native  has  put  together  a  dominant  spring  season,  going  5-0  in  GLVC  singles  play  and  recently  climbing  from  No.  73  to  a  season-best  No.  51  in  the  ITA  national  singles  rankings.  Her  GLVC  singles  wins  included  a  key  victory  over  the  No.  25-ranked  player  from  Indianapolis  in  the  final  week  of  the  regular  season.</div>
