        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  baseball  team  is  listed  among  the  programs  under  consideration  in  the  first  NCAA  Division  II  Midwest  Regional  Rankings  of  the  2025  season,  released  Wednesday  evening.

This  week's  rankings  are  presented  alphabetically,  with  UIS  among  nine  teams  recognized  in  a  competitive  Midwest  Region  field.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Illinois  Springfield  men's  tennis  team  will  close  out  its  conference  schedule  at  home  this  weekend  with  matches  against  Indianapolis  and  McKendree.

Weekend  Schedule  &amp;  Locations
Due  to  forecasted  rain,  Friday's  match  against  No.  17  Indianapolis  has  been  moved  indoors  and  will  be  played  at  2:00  p.m.  at  the  Springfield  Racquet  and  Fitness  Center.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">UIS  softball  is  headed  on  the  road  to  close  out  the  regular  season  with  back-to-back  noon  doubleheaders—Saturday  at  Upper  Iowa  and  Sunday  at  Lewis.  The  trip  will  end  with  a  matchup  against  the  top  team  in  the  GLVC  standings,  as  the  Prairie  Stars  prepare  for  the  postseason.

The  search  for  the  UIS  Vice  Chancellor  for  Finance  &amp;  Administration  has  yielded  four  finalists.  They  will  be  visiting  campus  for  interviews  on  April  28,  29  and  May  1,  2.



An  open  forum  will  take  place  for  interested  faculty  and  staff  to  attend  and  learn  more  about  each  of  the  candidates.



Candidate  resumes  and  instructions  for  providing  feedback  will  be  shared  at  the  open  forum.</div>
