Dear Faculty,
COLRS and ITS have teamed up to open up a 3-week pilot to instructors interested in trying out听, an AI-based plagiarism and AI content detection tool.
Due to the increasing cost of licensing Turnitin, as well as their decision to charge extra for AI detection tools, we began researching alternatives that might better fit the needs of UIS. We have been impressed with the features and functionality provided by Copyleaks, as well as the reviews by other universities already using Copyleaks.
On Monday, March 25, we will host a 30-minute demonstration/training by Copyleaks from 3pm-3:30pm听. We encourage anyone interested in learning more about Copyleaks to join us. The session will also be recorded, if you are unable to attend.
