J'Naiya Franklin-McCullum enjoys the unique opportunities provided to students at the University of Illinois Springfield. Franklin-McCullum is a member of the Leadership for Life Service Program, the National Society of Leadership and Success, interns for the Illinois Innocence Project and works for UIS Campus Recreation. Franklin-McCullum chose UIS because of the proximity to family and friends. Following graduation, she plans to apply for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
