UIS Softball Under Consideration in Season's First NCAA Regional Rankings
The UIS softball team has been included among the 10 programs under consideration in the first release of the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Rankings, published Wednesday on NCAA.com.
This initial release presents teams in alphabetical order, with ranked listings to follow in subsequent editions. The Prairie Stars hold a 25-16 overall record and are 25-14 in regional play.
UIS Baseball Hosts Rockhurst in Final Home Series
The UIS baseball team will host Rockhurst in its final home series of the regular season this week, with an adjusted schedule due to forecasted weather. The Prairie Stars and Hawks will now play doubleheaders at 12:00 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday at the UIS Baseball Field. Senior Day recognition will take place following the conclusion of Friday's second game.

UIS Baseball Adjusts Rockhurst Series Schedule
The UIS baseball team has adjusted its upcoming home series against Rockhurst. Originally scheduled for Thursday through Saturday, the series will now feature 12:00 p.m. doubleheaders on Thursday and Friday at the UIS Baseball Field.
At the conclusion of Friday's second game, UIS will honor its senior student-athletes in a special postgame ceremony. Fans are encouraged to attend and celebrate the accomplishments of the senior class.
UIS Softball Moves Doubleheader Against William Jewell to Friday
Due to forecasted rain on Saturday, the UIS softball team has moved its home doubleheader against William Jewell to Friday at 12:00 p.m. at the UIS Softball Field.
Following game two, the Prairie Stars will recognize eight seniors as part of Senior Day celebrations. Fans are encouraged to stay after the games to honor the contributions and accomplishments of the senior class.

Grant Sets 54-Hole Record as UIS Women's Golf Finishes 9th at UMSL Spring Invitational
 Junior Elaine Grant set a new program record for the lowest 54-hole score in UIS women's golf history, leading the team to a ninth-place finish at the UMSL Spring Invitational. The Prairie Stars competed against a strong field of 18 teams, including four NCAA Division II top-50 programs, and wrapped up their regular season on Monday.

The UIS baseball team dropped Sunday's series finale against Missouri Southern, falling 13-12 despite a late rally. The loss snaps the team's 15-game winning streak, though it still holds onto a 10-game streak in conference play.
