Facilities and Services crews will perform a critical repair to the plumbing system on the 1st floor of the Health & Sciences Building (HSB) this Saturday, Oct. 22, from approximately 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Â
We anticipate that water service will remain on through the duration of the repair.
Please feel free to reach out to us at facilities@uis.edu or (217) 206-6530 should you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
A contractor will be on campus, Saturday, Oct. 15, for work on the HSB roof. This effort will involve the use of a crane, which will be placed on the east side of the building. Markers and barricades will be used to cordon off the area where the crane will be located.
Please do not enter the 3rd floor of HSB during this time. Signs will be placed on the stairwells as a reminder.
Work using the crane is expected to take most of the day.
