ITS has partnered with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s Technology Services to provide IT Security here at UIS.

Security has become a crucial issue for interacting in a digital age. The following guidelines are intended to promote safe computing habits while using the UIS and other computing resources.

ITS is dedicated to keeping both the University’s data and its users safe from cyber threats. We’re here to help protect our campuses data, personal information, research, devices, and more.

ITS provides a wide range of support services that help our campus community use technology to increase engagement, efficiency, and effectiveness while both on and off campus.

ITS supports staying connected on a variety of devices/platforms (computers, tablets, phones, Mac, Windows, etc). We encourage you to take advantage of these resources. We are also available to assist you in implementing these services in your classrooms, offices, workflows, etc.

In an effort to encourage successful integration of technology into the university experience, the Instructional Support and Training team provides training, support, and production services.

ITS provides a wide range of instructional support services including delivery of equipment to classrooms and support for events hosted at the University by internal and external clients, maintaining the equipment in smart classrooms and computer labs, and assisting faculty and students with the use of available technologies.
