Our goal is to prepare students with the mathematical tools necessary for careers in technical fields by emphasizing the relevance of mathematics to their career area.
The Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Sciences is designed to prepare students for careers using mathematics, operations research, and statistics. This education is extremely valuable for careers in any of the following:

The Mathematical Sciences department teaches diverse quantitative skills through its junior/senior level program of 61 semester hours, or through the math minor.
The Mathematical Sciences program is designed to meet the ever-increasing demands for diverse quantitative skills, and offers the following opportunities of study:
