The World Affairs Council of Central Illinois (WACCI) is a civic organization dedicated to educating the public in our region about US foreign policy, global economic and environmental issues, and international politics through in-depth presentations and discussions.

UIS Theatre and the Luis Alfaro Residency Project (UIC), along with UIS’ “Our Stage, Our Voices” project, invite you to a special conversation with Associate Professor of Theatre Missy Thibodeaux-Thompson, “Our Stage, Our Voices” artist-in-residence Reggie Guyton, and Guest Artist, playwright Luis Alfaro (USC). They will share insights from their own experiences, and discuss the intersection of the arts, activism, community outreach, and creative collaboration.
