UIS English alum Courtney Cox is helping students find their voices in the composition classroom.
Cox is a doctoral student at Illinois State University’s PhD in English Studies with a concentration in Rhetoric and Composition. While taking graduate classes Cox also teaches two sections of English 101: Composition as Critical Inquiry, the program’s first-year composition class.
On commencement day, it’s typical to want to get photographs to mark the occasion.
But not many people get a photo of themselves with the university’s chancellors and president of the University of Illinois System.
That’s was Christopher Holley’s experience though when he attended the 2020 Commencement Ceremony held Sept. 18 on the UIS campus.
Bio: Crystal E. Snodgrass, DPA Doctoral Candidate, is investigating whether the extent to which health care partners collaborate in a Medicare Accountable Care Organization (ACO) affects ACO performance on federal quality and cost measures. An ACO is a formal partnership established by health care providers willing to be accountable for the cost and quality of care for their patients in exchange for a share in the cost savings associated with improving care.
Susannah Sinclair graduated with a master’s degree in Management Information Systems in 2020 with 3 graduate certificates in Business Analytics, IT Project Management, and Business Process Management. Susannah is currently the CRM and Digital Communications Manager at Bryn Mawr College Graduate School.

Dalal Mohammed Bamufleh graduated with a master’s degree in Management Information Systems in 2018 and is now teaching Management Information Systems at Yanbu University College.

Recent master’s in public administration graduate Ariel Gipson graduated with a job. She’s working as an Intact Family Services Caseworker for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois.
