What was your overall UIS experience like?
My experience was life changing. I learned so much about myself and other people around me. UIS allowed me to explore so many avenues of my creativity within my major that added to my success today. I was involved in SOFA, Kinky Curly Hair Club, The Journal Student Newspaper, and Necessary Step Mentor program. I truly developed my character and identity on that campus, and used every resource available to me to make me the woman I am today.

Faculty & Staff Campaign Kickoff
The Faculty & Staff Campaign is a fun way to acknowledge the importance of employees at UIS and to remember the rich history of employee involvement at UIS and SSU. We're celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Faculty & Staff Campaign in 2025. All UIS employees are encouraged to attend the event. Stop by for lunch, talk to colleagues about what they do and how donations help, pick up some swag and maybe even be compelled to make a donation.
