Dean of Students Office - Book Voucher Request
In certain cases, the Dean of Students Office will provide a voucher that a student can use to order and receive a textbook or other instructional material that is otherwise unavailable or outside the funds available to a qualifying student. Ownership of the title is retained by the University, but the student receiving the voucher will have possession of the material for the effected semester.Â

- Student will determine if the material is available through a free source prior to requesting a voucher from the Dean of Students Office. Free sources include a download from an internet site or a loan from Brookens Library ´Ç°ùÌý³Ù³ó±ðÌý.
- Information about the Book Rental Program at the Diversity Center is under "student resources."
- If your course material is not available from the Brookens Library or the Diversity Center, please contact the Dean of Students office at deanofstudents@uis.edu to see if a voucher is available.
- A Student receiving a voucher agrees to return the borrowed material to the in-house library at the Diversity Center at the end of the semester. All books are due the Friday of finals week by 5:00 pm.
