The UIS men's soccer team played to a 2-2 draw against Rockhurst on Sunday afternoon at Kiwanis Stadium. Despite twice taking the lead, UIS was unable to secure the victory as Rockhurst's Jacopo Belardo netted two goals for the visitors.

UIS fall teams hit the road this week, with volleyball and both soccer and golf teams in action as October begins.聽Fans can catch soccer and volleyball games on the GLVC Sports Network (GLVCSN), and live stats are available for all fall regular-season competitions during the upcoming week.

The UIS women's golf team is set to compete in the William Beall Fall Classic on Monday, Sept. 30, and Tuesday, Oct. 1.The Prairie Stars are coming off a strong performance at the Kansas City Cup, where they finished fifth in a competitive field of GLVC teams. UIS will take on 54 holes of stroke play over two days at Findlay Country Club. The tournament includes a strong lineup of 17 NCAA Division II women's golf teams, featuring GLVC rivals Maryville, Indianapolis, and Missouri-St. Louis.

The UIS men's golf team is set to compete in the Midwest Regional Preview on Monday, Sept. 30, and Tuesday, Oct. 1, in St. Joseph, Mo. The tournament, will be hosted by GLVC opponent Missouri-St. Louis聽at St. Joseph Country Club.聽 The tournament features 54 holes of stroke play over two days, starting at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
