2024-25 UIS Men's Basketball Schedule Announced

The UIS men's basketball program has released its schedule for the 2024-25 season, featuring 20 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) games and 9 non-conference matchups. Head Coach Matt Brock, entering his sixth season with a 71-66 record, will lead the Prairie Stars through a competitive slate.

The Illinois Springfield volleyball team split a pair of matches in Owensboro, Ky. on Friday. UIS opened the day with their first loss of the season, falling in straight sets with scores of 25-17, 25-22, and 25-23. In their match against Kentucky Wesleyan, Illinois Springfield secured a decisive 25-21, 25-19, 25-21 victory.聽

Arthur Figuiere Named Assistant Coach for UIS Tennis Program

Arthur Figuiere enters the 2024-25 school year as the UIS tennis program's assistant coach after volunteering with the team in 2023-24. He has joined Head Coach Ross Graham on the staff.
"We could not be more excited to have Arthur join our tennis program at UIS!" said Graham. "He brings a wealth of experience as an outstanding player for us two years ago and as a volunteer assistant last year. He will be a valuable asset to the UIS tennis program!"
