The UIS men's golf team was competing at the SVSU Spring Invitational before inclement weather forced the tournament's cancellation. Play was suspended on Saturday after 9-11 holes, and the event was officially called off before resumption on Sunday. Before the stoppage, UIS was tied for sixth with Tiffin in a 19-team field. Julien Babineau led the Prairie Stars at two-under through 10 holes, sitting atop the individual standings.

The UIS baseball team played through most of its series against Indianapolis this weekend, but Sunday's scheduled nine-inning finale was canceled due to inclement weather. Per Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) policy, the game will not be rescheduled. The series began strong for UIS with a 6-3 victory in the nine-inning opener. However, Indianapolis bounced back to win both games of Saturday's doubleheader, taking the first 10-6 and the second 3-0.
