Softball also hosts the 2025 Springfield Invite, its annual home tournament. Away highlights include indoor track & field competing at the GLVC Championships, and men's golf beginning the spring 2025 season.

UIS men's tennis dropped a 5-1 match to Tiffin on Saturday afternoon, falling to 0-4 on the season.

The Illinois Springfield men's basketball team fought back from a 20-point deficit but ultimately fell 87-80 to Lewis on Saturday afternoon at Neil Carey Arena. With the loss, the Prairie Stars dropped to 12-14 overall and 7-11 in GLVC play. 

The UIS women's basketball team suffered a 78-52 loss to No. 21-ranked Lewis on Saturday afternoon in Romeoville, Ill. With the defeat, the Prairie Stars drop to 5-21 overall and 4-14 in GLVC play, while Lewis improves to 23-2 overall and 17-1 in conference play.

UIS men's track and field raced a trio at the IC Hilltop Classic, hosted by Illinois College, on Friday night to close out the regular season. The Prairie Stars recorded two fifth-place finishes at the meet.
