In this session, Tarah Sweeting will highlight the strategies CASA is using to help students achieve their academic goals and improve retention at UIS. Participants will learn how CASA leverages key resources such as academic tutoring, supplemental instruction, and intensive first-year advising to create meaningful support pathways for students.

The Title III Steering Committee invites faculty to apply for the High Impact Practice Development Fund. This fund, supported by the Title III Strengthening Institutions grant awarded to UIS in 2023, provides seed grants for programs to develop or revise a high-impact practice. The 2025-2026 Development Fund cycle will focus on capstone courses or projects, internships, and study away experiences.
