All MIS majors or students who have selected MIS as a minor are invited to join the UIS , which is affiliated with the . Applications for membership are available from Professor Te-Wei Wang , the faculty advisor for the chapter, email twang22@uis.edu .

MIS GPSI Student Gallery

Participants in the Graduate Public Service Internship Program (GPSI) receive recognition from UIS faculty and staff at an annual award ceremony. The program allows students to seek experiential learning opportunities at state and local government agencies that enhance the development of ethical, competent and engaged graduate students. The program fosters UIS' commitment to academic excellence, enriching individual lives, making a difference in the world and lifelong learning.

Academic Programs

UIS offers a Master of Science in Management Information Systems, a Bachelor of Science in MIS as well as a concentration in Health Care Informatics, a general minor in MIS, a minor in Business Analytics and graduate certificates in the areas of Business Process Management, IT Project Management, Business Analytics, Cybersecurity Administration and Cybersecurity Management.

Courses can be taken online, on campus or a combination of the two options.
