Prairie Stars Announce 2025 Homecoming Dates

The University of Illinois Springfield is excited to announce that Homecoming Week 2025 will take place September 14–20, featuring a full slate of events for students, alumni, and Prairie Stars fans.
UIS women's and men's soccer teams will host William Jewell College in conference matchups on Friday, September 19, with kickoff times set for 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The UIS volleyball team will also be in action that weekend, hosting a home tournament at TRAC. One of Saturday's matches will be designated as the official Homecoming game.

Prairie Stars to Wrap Up Regular Season at McKendree

The Illinois Springfield baseball team hits the road for its final regular season series, visiting in-state conference foe McKendree for four games beginning Thursday. The series opens at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, followed by a Friday doubleheader starting at 12:00 p.m., and a Saturday finale at 12 :00 p.m.Â

UIS Men’s Track and Field Heads to GLVC Outdoor Championships

The UIS men's track and field team is set to compete at the 2025 Great Lakes Valley Conference Outdoor Championships this week. The event, hosted by Lewis this year, will take place Thursday through Saturday, May 1–3, in Romeoville, Ill.
