You may now access the triennial Mandated Reporter training that is required under the Illinois Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act (ANCRA). All University of Illinois System employees, including those with a 0% (unpaid) appointment, must complete this training no later than January 17, 2025.Â

UIS Men’s Soccer Battles in GLVC Quarterfinal, Falls 3-2 in Overtime

The UIS men's soccer team fought to the end in the GLVC quarterfinals but ultimately fell 3-2 in overtime to Maryville on Sunday. In a tightly contested match, the Prairie Stars equalized twice, only to have the game decided by a sudden victory goal from the Saints.

The women's basketball team kicks off their home opener this week, while the men's basketball team travels for their next matchup. Volleyball closes out the regular season with two GLVC road games. The UIS soccer teams both bowed out of the GLVC tournament on Sunday, Nov. 10. The women's team was defeated 3-1 by McKendree, while the men's team fell 3-2 to Maryville in overtime.

UIS Men's Basketball Defeats Parkside 60-43

The UIS men's basketball team won its second game of the 2024-25 season on Sunday afternoon, defeating Wisconsin-Parkside 60-43 at the Midwest Regional Crossover. UIS improves to 2-0, while Parkside falls to 0-2.
Head coach Matt Brock was pleased with the win, saying, "We are playing strong and physical. 43 points from a team who beat us last year is a good defensive performance for us. Offensively, we can and will do better. Overall, good weekend for us!"Â
