The University of Illinois Springfield has named Yanhui Guo, associate professor of computer science, as the recipient of the Louise Hartman Schewe and Karl Schewe Professorship in the College of Health, Science and Technology (CHST). The professorship will support Guo鈥檚 efforts to apply artificial intelligence to improve education through research, innovation and community collaboration. |

The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Program is proud to present 鈥淩oom 9,鈥 an exhibition featuring artworks by senior visual arts majors at UIS. The exhibit will open on April 21 and run through May 8. A reception will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on April 24. All gallery events are free and open to the public. |
