The Public Affairs Reporting program at the University of Illinois Springfield is seeking an adjunct broadcast writing instructor to provide individualized and group instruction during the Fall 2022 semester to graduate-level students enrolled in PAR. The instructor will assist the PAR director in delivering PAR 501, Advanced Public Affairs Reporting, the core news writing course students must complete prior to beginning PAR news reporting internships at the Capitol. |

New Intercession Course Offering, Dr. Brandon Derman
During the new Winter Intersession term between Fall and Spring semesters, nine students from ENS and other programs enrolled in Dr. Derman鈥檚 Topics in Environmental Studies course 鈥淯nderstanding Struggles for Climate Justice.鈥 The course examined the ways in which climate change is increasingly being understood as an issue of intergenerational, racial, and global justice, building on Derman鈥檚 longstanding research interests, explored in his new book. |
