Where can I get my paper proofread on campus?

The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Hub has a page on their website with some really great tips for editing and proofreading here. However, please note the following message from the writing section of the learning hub:

While The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Hub’s writing staff is more than willing to help with most any type or level of writing, we are not an editing service, and will not simply proofread your paper for grammatical or citation mistakes. Rather, our tutors will walk you through primary concerns such as argument, logic, organization, clarity, and flow, before then working on secondary concerns including grammar and mechanics. Please keep this in mind as you make appointments with us.

Graduate or doctoral students seeking assistance with theses or dissertations will be assisted by our Writing Specialists or Writing Coordinator. You can either set up an appointment with the learning hub, go to one of their walk in sessions, or go to a workshop.

To set up an appointment, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Hub Website
  2. Scroll down until you see the button "Make an Appointment"
  3. Complete the online form in as much detail as you can.
  4. The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Hub will get in contact with you after you submit this form. Be prepared to send your tutor materials including: your paper ahead of time, the prompt, etc etc.
